A wide solid oak slab with one natural live edge and one straight edge. Its wavy grain converges around a central knot, accompanied by visible fine cracks. You will receive the exact piece photographed, with your chosen finish.

Your finish choice

Surfaces are rough-planed, unsanded, with no resin or varnish, and have sharp edges. Knots, cracks, and cavities remain in the state shown in the photos without the resin option. Chalk markings may remain on the raw version.

Options: epoxy resin in top-side knots and cracks; finish sanding to 120 grit, including edges; broken or rounded edges; sanding with matte varnish. The varnish option includes sanding. Resin may be chosen without sanding. The side without chalk markings shown in the first photo is the designated top side for resin.

Kiln-dried wood: its moisture content varies with the environment, and the wood continues to move. Nominal length and width, tolerance ±1 cm; thickness ±2 mm. For a fitted alcove, verify dimensions before ordering.

Preparation and delivery
